He started his TikTok account March 2021 and within 2 months grew to over a million followers. Matt says, “For years, on Instagram, I hid behind photos of my tattoos. As an artist, I wanted my work to speak for itself. I was told by quite a few people I needed to show more of myself and my personality. And since I wasn’t willing to take my clothes off, I went with the personality.” Born and raised in Orange County, CA, Matt’s expressive nature was first discovered in the art of music, as a drummer and lyricist. It was there his utter fascination with tattoo culture began to develop. But it wasn’t until he was incarcerated in California’s infamous prison system that he discovered his natural talent for visual arts. “The minute I found out I could draw,” Matt says, “there was no turning back!” Today, he has a voracious appetite for progress and growth, Matt continues to push the limits with an unbreakable spirit.
